As we come to the end of the year, I'm reflecting back on a year of books read - many of which I've reviewed here for you all! I took part, as I always do these days, in the GoodReads reading challenge, setting myself the target of 52 books in the year.
Well, I met that goal a while back! Since then, I've been focusing on other kinds of reading and entertainment in the evenings: webcomics, podcasts, and the like. It's nice to read a lot, but it's also nice to expand the horizons a bit further and take in other forms of stories.
Anyway, I thought I'd share my completed list of all the books I read in 2020. It's got quite a few of my own on there... when I have to read something through five times in order to check each draft, I reckon that definitely counts for the tracker!
You can see everything I read this year here. Do share with me if any of my books are in your reading challenge for this year, or if you have them in your to-read shelf for next year. And good luck if you're going to undertake the challenge in 2021! I won't be breaking with tradition - I'm going to get going with 52 books again. Usually, I 'cheat' a little by starting a big volume in December that I know will take me a long time to get through, so I can get it ticked off early in January. It may be time for a bit of Dostoyevsky...
