Hello! My name is Rhiannon D’Averc. I’m a female ghostwriter based in the UK. If you’re looking to hire a ghostwriter in London, Kent, East Sussex, or beyond, we can work together – I also take international clients.
As of January 2024, I’ve had 100 books published, the large majority of them ghostwritten. I have two bestsellers published under my own name.
I love to tackle long-term series commitments as well as one-off projects. My services also include creating outlines and structures, editing, and coaching for aspiring authors.
My favourite clients are those who have an incredible story to share – a story that moves me and our readers. If we can enact social change through our words and improve the lives of others, I’ll be in love with the project.

It’s very simple.
– First, we sit down together for an hour-long interview
– I use this information to create a solid plan and foundation for your book
– I deliver bespoke package options and market research along with the outline I’ve created. You choose the package you want to go ahead with
– Next, we’ll take part in further interviews over a period of time, usually around six months
– From these interviews, plus any other resources you may have and my own research, I’ll write a book in your voice – authenticity is absolutely key for my work
– I’m also on hand to help you through the publishing process if you need me, and can even deliver a fully designed and packaged book that simply needs selling or printing online

My clients have been coaches, business owners and entrepreneurs, people with inspiring life stories, and influential individuals. If you have learned lessons in your life journey that could inform, inspire, or entertain others, then you have a book inside you.
Due to privacy agreements, I’m not able to list all of my clients by name or book title. It’s important to me that my clients know they can trust me, not just when we work together but for the rest of our lives, and I would never divulge the name of a client or title of a book without permission. How much does a ghostwriter cost?
Everything I do is bespoke, so the prices listed here may vary depending on how long and complex your project is. This can be taken as a basic guide for your expectations, however:
Consultation
Free! I don’t charge anything for our first meeting. I think we should get to know one another, and the project, first. When we meet for twenty minutes, we’ll go over any questions you may have, and I’ll begin to get a feel for what you need. This will help me guide you in the right direction for what happens next. Strategy Session
$500 / £400
The first step in my process, as mentioned above. After an hour’s interview, I’ll be able to go away and conduct my own research to add to my findings. After about a week, I can present you with market comparisons and what I’ve learned from them, a full chapter by chapter book outline, the proposed wordcount, and a couple of bespoke packages for you to choose from going forwards. This will set your book up for success – and will help us meet your goals and aims.
Ghostwriting
The range given encompasses the full gamut from a simple, standard book project through to all of the extras and add-ons I can offer.
Mini flash guide (typically 10-20 pages, including formatting) – from $3,500 / £2,700
Novella or short guide – from $20,000 / £15,500
Full-length novel or non-fiction book – from $30,000 / £24,000
Memoirs or epic novels – from $44,000 / £34,000
Editing your manuscript
I need to see your manuscript first, or at least a sample of it, to understand the level of work required in your case – each client is different. In general, prices can range from $5,000 to $75,000 (£4,000 to £58,000).
If I ghostwrite your book, editing is included in the price.
Coaching
$600 or £475 an hour.
You can either book in ad-hoc as you need me, or commit to a plan of scheduled sessions and pay in advance for a block booking. This is a great option for accountability and making sure you progress through your work on the book as you need to!
